Almost a month passed and I totally forgot about the water injection setup. The pet bottle(1.5l) used to hold the water was almost empty. Algae also had grown in the bottle.(moist and humid enviroment for microbial growth) Apparently ,after doing the math for my travels ,I got an average of 21km/l.(Crazy) Had to do more runs to make sure. And somehow find a way to inhibit microbial growth.
All in all ,the results are encouraging.

Bro loudness, if possible do post a picture of your water injection setup. Sounds interesting..

Everytime I try to upload pics ,a series of error messages appear and none of of the pics got through. My office computer geeks say that there's a problem with my browser with incompatability issues.Or maybe because I'm still using an "ancient" Pentium 3 model. I'll do what I can to sort this out. Anyway ,the water injection setup is "proof of concept" and needs lots of refining to get the system working. One confirmation is that it works. My idea is based on this setup...................... www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbhOTf7i6fcThis is to get an idea of the concept.

So called claims about filling up on cool early mornings has made me think about the claims.
After my evening oil change ,went to a relative's place for "rewang" - late night prep for next day's wedding reception.Just to get the new oil circulating. At 3am filled up and dipped my finger while pumping and the fuel flow was as hot as if I filled up in the middle of the day.
I pumped at Shell ,I don't know if other stations are doing the same thing. Lots of questions start to "fill up "my head. Conspiricy??Interest of fairness??Equal opportunity??.............................

I guess that applies to colder countries. Have you noticed that the brick walls of our flats traps heat from the afternoon sun all the way to the night? Well at least mine does. You guys try and feel the wall facing the window in the day and feel it again at night. you will be surprised that its as warm as it was in the day!
So i guess the tank being underground is like being baked in a "clay oven" of cement heated by the afternoon sun. Thats probably why the fuel is just as warm...

So far, haven't felt any measurable increase in fuel economy. Still need to refine the ratio of acetone required.
The only side effect is my wife nagging about the quickly dwindling nail polish remover.

Updating as I get along. Presently, minimum is 18km/liter and max at 22km/liter. Averaged and mostly driving alone with all possible eco driving techniques.
I still don't know why everyone on the roads still drive like in a hurry to go somewhere. At $2.00 a liter is no joke for penny pinchers like me. I guess my stinginess IS the driving force to make me stretch every drop of fuel.

With the fuel price hike I have been in eco mode too. Following your tips as much as i can. 60-70 kmh on the eways and accelerating gradually on the roads. Always keeping my vacuum gauge on the "idle" to "drive" range.
Yeah most people on the roads are in a hurry! Driving in eco mode, sometimes i get high beamed even though i am on the left or 2nd left lane.
Over the CNY period most drivers are relaxed and was quite a pleasure to drive. All in Holiday mood. But now CNY coming to an end can feel the pace is starting to pick up.
Been pumping in JB for the past month. At night can sometimes getaway with pumping 95.. Shiok!! So far I am getting 13.4km/L at best for 50/50 urban and highway driving. My fuel economy pales in comparison to yours!

Yup ,still on it. Wifey still nagging at how fast I'm using it and none for her.Sigh............ Still haven't quite measured how much exactly to use. Estimation at 0.5 cc to around 10 litres of fuel.(more or less)
Maybe thats why I'm getting those insanely siow readings.
I think I'll stop usage to confirm that its the acetone and not my eco driving.

You can and you will. By following some regimental rules and abide to them. You'll not just be above cloud 9 but "eternal wedding bliss".

Ok ,Acetone is the main "derivative" of my really sicko FE. The moment I stopped using it.MY FE dropped to the usual range of 15 to 17km/liter.
A quickie on my notes shows the acetone breaking up the surface tension of fuel droplets dispersing it to form even more smaller droplets to the point of "vapourising" the fuel.Better fuel burn ,less waste and more efficiency. A bit of performance gains but I'm not interested in that.
Anyway it works for me. As my master would say,"If Yan can cook,so can you!"

My updated update. With "normal" humanoid driving with no "chemical" aids I got a wider average fuel usage of 14 to 17km/liter. Which means its almost as close to factory FE standards. But still can do better. Which means I'm still as conservative as ever.
