Bro Loudness is the king in Fuel Efficiency! Without a doubt he manages ridiculously high fuel economy! Been trying to drive like he does... not easy... really need to be disciplined and not be in any sort of rush. Most of the time I give in to temptation though hehe...

I have to agree .. i cant take it when other cars bully my lil minz on the roads .. ppl just overtake and cut in very near me just because i am slow .. but if its at night.. i would take my own sweet time cruising 60km/h all the way home.. unless i am really tired

I'm no King.More likely King Kong(I'm quite hairy except for a balding head) I'm just a survivor with very little or nothing to work with. Turning every bad thing to a good one. Most of all resisting the temptation to speed. It all comes at a price.I'm turning into a fuel miser and a mad scientist with degrees and Phd from MPH(permanent head damage from mad people's hospital)
I want to be like Daniel Dingel and John Meyer who converted a normal petrol engine to a 100% water powered vehicle.

Talk about resisting temptation to speed.Just about every corner or exactly every traffic light junction,I see people sprint from the first traffic light to the next and to the next.If they play their cards right, they should be coasting through without even touching the brake pedal.
Yet ,they look at me as if I'm a convict. Who cares for all I know.I'm the one saving fuel and they're not.
By the way, has anyone heard of Firestorm Sparkplugs. Googling about it says that using it increases power, fuel efficiencyand reliability and other stuff. But no info in the local shops here.

I am guilty of that too at times hehe... Sometimes there's this irritating car thats tailgating and being impatient and you just want to mess with him Either slow down and box him up along side another equally slow car forming a moving road block or be quicker than him so that he can't overtake easily... eeeevel.... Never hear of fire storm plugs. I have heard of pulse star though...

My car got a major problem......Petrol overflow hose burst.....Haiz.... Aiyoyo! How did the petrol develop so much pressure so as to blow the hose? Which hose is it?

Yesterday, after work ,went out for family time at Changi airport. Acting like tourist from T1 to T3 - operation shock and awe.
Anyway ,drove there and believe it or not.The engine was incredibly more thrifty than usual. I haven't topped up fuel since last week eventhough I drove it a few times weeknights and quite alot on weekends.
Went up Lentor and Upper Changi flyover with ease even with aircon on and at same gearing.
Up till now have chalked up 260km on 13 liters ,using the same hypermilling techniques, instead of the usual 240 to 250km.Give or take a few.
Its encouraging results.Lets see what the future holds.

Abang loudness, currently are you driving with the revs as per before Surbo or driving with the revs in the Surbo activation range?
For the Surbo to activate, must rev till 3k am i right? Under relaxed driving conditions we would usually shift at about 2k+ rpm and seldom drag until 3k and beyond I believe.
I have been thinking whether the extra power IS coming from the Surbo effect or just previously untapped power in the 3k and above rpm range?
I am tempted to get the Surbo and started wondering with the above question or theory to explain the surge of power that was experienced. Is it really the Surbo working ( I really hope so) or power that was previously untapped due to driving style?

It took me an "eternity" just to get to 3k,let alone drag the engine. I know how my engine "reacts" to my footwork and my driving style. And its lacking in power in all the usual rev ranges.I hear and feel the engine "labouring" when upshifting and accelerating.Non of it happened with the Surbo.
The Surbo actually aids in the "breathing" of the engine. Its like applying axe oil to your stuffy nose or something like that lah.
Anyway,I use the "power" just for uphills and loaded sessons,no more of the speedy stuff. Reaching 2k and 3k is much less lagging than before.More responsive and willing.
I can't say it will be the same other cars. The performance of any two cars are never alike.

Thats positive news for the surbo. I get what you mean by the engine labouring. Even with the 1.3L the labouring is there with the aircon on.
I am satisfied with the power that it has with the aircon off. Hoping that the Surbo can help give the same power with aircon on as with aircon off.
Will be meeting him up this sunday. After all its $80.. still reasonable. Thanks for the great review thus far bro!

The main reason I got those ludricust milage is that ...................................
The Surbo "eases" the stress of the engine. It helps a lot for milage and FE. I have the habit of going to "extermes" to get extra milage - pulse and glide, drafting behind buses and Malaysian lorries, lots of wet weather driving, night driving etc............ Injected and injested water into the engine. Even coasting with engine off - Mandai Rd usually little or no traffic. And so on.
Unfortunately,I made more "enemies" than friends. My work colleagues just couldn't believe the "mad" milages I made eventhough they got Hybrids and CNGs. I told them that we have to change our mindset on how we drive plus maybe a few insignificant "gadgets" to help us along the way.Not thousands of dollars.
If I can do it,everybody can. That's what my PTI said during my recruit times. So what makes it any different.
Well, no one seems to be bothered with it and insisting the I "used"other means to achieve it. Secret compartment for extra fuel lah. Electric engine lah. My engine is motorbike engine lah. What so ever lah.
In summary I got what I desired in fuel economy and more out of my small fuel tank and of course the other small fuel tank(pockets). And maybe I'm a Mr Nobody the no one listens to. Spreading the words of FE is tough.
