i don't know about that.once i waited and still they i faced faults after few days..you can drop the keys in the metal box..but for once the aircon is cold..im suprised but i wonder hw long it will last. Oh I see... on average how long did you have to wait? After dropping the keys in the box, is there a form to list down the problems and do i drop this form together with the key or pass it to someone? My 1000Km service is coming up by next weekend. My rear seatbelts are only lap belts. They say that on the first service they will convert it to the standard over-the-chest seatbelt. I wonder why they didn't do it in the first place before handing over the car to me... Hmmm... my aircon also not that cold. On hot days, sometimes i feel myself sweating away.. But on rainy days its pretty cold. So i am not sure if its considered cold enough or not haha.. Hopefully this time they fixed your aircon for good!

For my car, still no problem with the aircons, went down to hafei the other day to fix my faulty interior lights and also wiper problem, the staff there looks free to me, still got time to watch movies in the waiting area xD So bro, you bought the speakers at far east auto too? And did u changed the radio with the speakers too? You seem to be one of the lucky ones who got a unit thats not plagued with problems. Yup, I bought the speakers with them. $400 for the speakers plus installation. I didn't change the radio as the LG unit that came with the car is a decent one according to them. So they advised me not to change.

there is a paper provided at the box itself..just tear 1 out..but the last time i went, paper was out..lol..thank god i had extra spare paper in the car..write everything down on the paper..its nvr enough for me.. ;D
always have to write at the back as well..they will call u the nx morning regarding ur problems and usually it gets done within 1 day..by the way are you refering to the 3rd row or 2nd row for lap belts?and my aircon is quite cold nw..but the temperature takes like hours to increase to 2 bars..no idea why..and my reverse sensor still faulty..haha..

Hmm.... come to think of it, for my first servicing I already have a pretty long list. Let me see....
1 - 1st and reverse sometimes hard to engage 2 - Sliding door not unlocking fully 3 - Fix gap on front bumper 4 - Report white marks on the paint on roof top 5 - Adjust steering wheel alignment 6 - A jerk when the clutch is engaged and power is applied in 1st, 2nd and Reverse. I wonder if any one of you guys noticed or experienced this jerk.. Its like as if there's freeplay somewhere along the driveline and when power is applied, it causes a jerk once the freeplay is taken up.
I am referring to the 3rd row seats...
Hmmm... perhaps I shall report about my aircon too. But at the same time afraid when they fix one thing, new problems will crop up. Also worried that if the list is too long... they may end up just rushing the work or they get overwhelmed by the number of things that needs to be fixed. Perhaps I will just ask them to rectify the major problems first. Once those are done then I will ask them to rectify the other less critical items.

aircon is average..really cold only at night..it figures..service has nvr been perfect for me..really sickening at times..
mine are stil lap belts no idea why they nvr bother to fix the standard belts..

Your problems are what i faced in the beginning, for the gears it will get loose over time so doesnt matter that much. And the steering will get lighter over time too, if you feel that ur steering is kind of heavy, then its time to pump some air into your tires.
And i am probably lucky i guess, the most common problem i got before was the speedometer reset problem but was retified when they changed the whole meter. But i still feel that the aircon is taking up too much power, i can easily reach above 100km/h with the aircon off compared to when its on.
When i got my car last year, it came with the standard belts already, maybe you should bug them to change them for u bro. Anyway my 10,000km servicing is due soon, 500km more, after that its time to change some rims and sound systems ^^ provided if my dad is willing to sponser abit =x

mine 300km to my 10000km service..and i agree with you that the aircon takes up alot of power...and the tire has to been pump frequently as it loses pressure very easily..

Man that is real bad. Exactly what I am afraid that will happen when they fix one thing and screw other perfectly working equipment. Is there anyone in the company to feedback and complaint about their standard of service? Like their manager for example?

If thats the case, I gotta push and make sure they change my belts to conform to the LTA rules. My gearshift was smoother when i first got it. But 1st at times need a few tries to engage. Mine is already 1000km as of today... A heck of a lot faster than I thought! 19 days and I am at 1000km! Yeah man... just change them now... Between now and later, now sounds better to me hehehe! 15" would fit too with some low profile tires. But the ride would be hard and harsh and I wonder if consumption would increase.

Well, it came with lap belts, but my sales rep at that time fixed it for me before handing over the car. Now the last row only has 1 lapbelt for the center passenger.

The car just came back from servicing on friday. They changed the rear seat belts already. The reason they didnt change it before handing me the car is because they had no stock for the belts. The stocks just arrived that day.
The engine oil was expensive though.. 90+ bucks for 4 liters of shell helix. I was thinking of buying my own oil to pass to them instead... wondering if anyone has done that before...
When they serviced the car, i expected them to check all the fluid levels and top them up as necessary. But this wasn't the case... My coolant level has dropped from full yet they didnt top it up. I am going to send the car in for service again this week and write down exactly what I want them to check and do since if I didn't they are unlikely to check it.
An issue that I noticed with the service personnel is that after service my interior and exterior have oil and grease stains. The mechanics never bother to wash or clean their hands before touching the interior and stuff and the stains require some elbow grease to remove. They also like to leave rags and gloves behind too.
Anyways after servicing, my engine sounded different and coarser at idle. Something is not right... And now there is a screeching sound from under my seat when the engine is revving below 2000 rpm. Sigh... another trip to the service center for me...
Sorry for the ranting guys!

My friend, be prepare to expect all of that, something is always nt perfect after servicing. I had oil stains also, told them to clean it that day, my car got worse after repairs also, reverse sensor dead, acceleration still choking, wiring problem, some vibrating sound coming from the front and i can smell oil when im driving, which is weird BUT the aircon is really cold now..which is surprising..
Regarding the engine oil, i was wondering if we could do that but i doubt so cause that is how they earn from servicing, as without engine oil, everything else is almost free...im due for 3rd servicing and its gonna cost abt 177 which is ridiculous.

Thats wad I fear most. I just sent the car in today for tomorrow's servicing. Hopefully it turns out for the better...
The reverse sensor is dead again? I thought the other day it was working when you arrived... Wow... i really hope I don't get such problems... It would really suck big time..
Bumped into another owner who was sending his car for servicing.. he used to frequent the old forums. He says his aircon is cooler now after he asked the mechanic to remove the heater from the underneath the center of the dashboard. He says prior to that.. his aircon was not cold because the heater in the center part is connected. After he asked them to bypass the heater, the air con is cool again.
$177... steep.... wonder what they change ... Have you considered servicing outside instead?
