Have just went for a fuel and speed trial for my Minz 1.3 to Muar malaysia on Saturday...
Fuel Consumption
Have travelled a total of 480Km to and froth and this is the fuel consumption data i obtained.. Taking the highway to Muar and taking small route to parit jawa... Travelling at 80-90km/h, overtaking increase to 100-110km/h...
Top up V-power (racing) in Malaysia....
Average Result: Highway consumption 13.05km/Litre Normal Roads in Malaysia 11.76km/Litre
The figure is obtained over three refill i done in malaysia.. My fuel tank is top up to the neck and tripmeter reset every top up...
Speed and Load Trial
I have four passenger with me totalling to 300kgs in weight... At highway can easily clock 90km/h... Above 105km/h, u will start to hear over-rev from the engine...
Room space is big for those guys that i bring along....
Overall, the road trip is satisfying and fun... Any of you, do share your consumption data and experience.

for me . I can only get around 10-11 km per litre I guess the starting and stopping adds to the fuel consumption . The long distance drving in malaysia adds to the mileage

btw..is ur speedo meter repaired yet? basically, for the current speedo meter which is faulty, i have done a sort of small test with a friend driving side by side with me and 90km/h on our minz meter is about 100km/h on other vehicles.

Driving to Kuala lumpur should be no problem anyway from muar, KL is only another 100+ km.... For Penang, if drive slowly and rest the vehicle at interval, i think should be ok...
Just check with Mr Koh last friday and he said Speedometer yet to arrive.... That's not a great efficiency :-(
Generally, i think we shld go more often into malaysia.. The roads is nice for driving and away from the city... Like it eversince i drive into muar. A very good getaway.. I will go in Malaysia more often...

I think MinZ consumes too much petrol at 11.76km/Litre. Any comments?

i only get 10km/litre. sometimes maybe hit 9km/litres only. maybe they should rename minz as "thirsty maxz"...

recenlty i notices that it can only go abt 120-130 km for 15 litres of power 98 topped up..which means consumption is ard 8-10...very bad..
