Its been at the back of my mind ever since I started surfing car forums.
Is it possible to post some fuel economy tips.So far every car forums just wants more power and performance.
In this small island of ours, everybody is "rushing" even on weekends. Family sedans are turned into road racers.Small fuel efficient cars are turned into dragsters.Hybrids are driven as if there is no tomorrow.Who knows whats happening to those Evos And STIs.
I see people put high octane fuel in their modest cars.Unless they have high compression engines or problematic ones like "detonation" or "pinging".There is really no need to. In times like these where tightening our belts is the norm, there's probably lots to talk about. Please forgive me is I'm just ranting. But this is what I see everyday. Ecomodding anyone?

I only use 95 and above.. but on our sunny island.. its strictly 95 .. in malaysia.. thats another case.. 92 somehow feels more coarse cause i sat in a 1.1 on 92 before Well, someone can start a thread on how to save fuel and how much mileage they are getting and i will sticky it

Good Day Sir,
May I ask - How many Hafei MinZ owners are currently under this group ?
If the numbers are big enough, perhaps the managers can consider the following,..
- Bring in spares at bulk, and be a stockist for Hafei Parts
- Have a "Hafei-Group-Appointed/Approved workshop,..preferbly in the Central/West
- Can organise and share resources (like car polishing equipment,etc,..) and offer, say, Hafei Groomong Service from thie centre,...
As a Group, perhaps we might have the strength to give Vertex,..some load off their chest or competition, whatever one may interpret,.....but ultimately, the benefirt will be to the Hafei-Owner.
watdaya think ?
Thanks

Our group so far has about 45members.. but mostly inactive.. only active ones might only account to about 10 members.. so buying in bulk might be hard.. but of course there are always ways such as purchasing together with the singapore china car forums ..
if you think we might have better strength against vertex, i dont think so. Chery club singapore has more than 100 members but they still dont get the support they deserve from vertex.
Workshop wise i can say that most of us have already found our own appointed external workshops. For me i would go to Kuo Li Auto in Ang mo kio industrial park II (one of AVC.SG's member workshop) ... others i heard they go to motogard in tampines.. so its still up to the individual =)
Of course when we get more active members we could do more.. so help spread the word about our forums and get more members in ^^

After years in the forum, I see a few spaces that had not any posts and its stagnant. Example......cars from the west(USA/Continental) and East(Japan). If it is possible, could these stagnant threads be replaced with other threads that correspond and cater to more of the forumers. For example like........a brush with the law(local and overseas), or garage days revisited, or anything that can fit the hafeian driving style and experience.
Thank you.
