Hi,
I joined the site a few weeks ago. I've got a Green Vehicles Moose which is a 2009 Hafei Minyi converted to a 100% electric vehicle by a company in Salinas California. Unfortunately the company is out of business now.
I live in California (not many Hafei's here!) so finding this wonderful site has been very helpful.
Hope it's ok for an "out of towner" to be here :-).

Hi Mark, Welcome to Hafei Club. It's interesting to have a green car. I wonder the engine run on special battery packs or what? Please enlighten us with photos. Thanks! By the way, what parts are u looking at? Regards, Ekims

Hi Ekims,
Thanks for the welcome. I'll dig up some photos and add them to the photos section of the site.
I am looking for the cup holder/organizer that replaces the dashboard panel in front of the passenger, the black instrument panel insert (the part that goes around the radio, speedometer and is held in with 3 screws), front seat seat covers (blue and grey), maybe one of those arm rest - cup holder units in grey.
Mark

Hi fit, The company was Green Vehicles www.greenvehicles.com they are out of business but someone bought the assets and is planning to start building electric Minz's again. I hope they succeed. I don't know about California Mini Trucks, Miles Electric Vehicles is another electric vehicle company using Hafei Minz's for their conversions.

Mark Hi Mark, You can try googling for "US Taobao agents". They can help you order stuff you need from China. Hope that helps!

Hello there Mark. Hope you're still around.Sorry about this very late entry.
I've always been fascinated and hopelessly interested on going electric for years. Thinking about it like.............no polution and stuff. But government mumbo jumbo and red tape plus other types of tape would take us years before we actually see an electric vehicle.Don't even know if I can see one let alone drive one in my lifetime. Laws and restrictions is one thing.Infrastructure???Totally non-exsistant.
Everywhere else in the world going electric is just a matter of going to a workshop and start converting.Same as converting to solar, air or water powered.
Here we have to do legislation, pushing pens and papers before the first screw is being laid on the bench.Still got that weird feeling that the Big Oil companies are having a huge chokehold on us.
Anyway, this is the life of our tiny island. Hope to hear from you.
