Appreciate it greatly for loaning me his alternator. Even we didn't install at the end due to some issue. Got to wait for bro fit shipment to come in and install the new alternator. Till then.... BTW, your alternator just shipped out. ETA is the 22nd. You can try cash converters or hardware shops and see if they got cheap battery chargers for sale. That way you can always charge it while at home.

Latest update on my ride: I'm back online! Got my parts from our friendly Fit.
Got my alternator fix up and running. 65A to 85A upgrade.
Got my Hi Five air con full blast, on headlight, music on. All cool and going good.
But got some smell of heat and same is hot but the temp is 4-5bar. Might be from the "oil" from the new alternator. Might be due to the belt need change a longer one from bro fit advice. Model: 4pk or 5pk 930
Next is get the back sealant, bearing and front brake to fix up.
Let all pray for the best, got to try load some stuff up to test and hopefully don catch fire.
Where I got it done: Yishun SPC workshop. A package on the workmanship. -Change the Rear bearing and sealant. -Front brake -Alternator
Special thanks to: Bro Fit, Loudness, NGO, Ekim and John. For the advice given.

Updates: My alternator now charging is over 16V! This is bad and my batt got liquid spilt out. Think is the acid in the batt. Got to check wiring tmw!
Must!

Updates: Got my back bearing and sealant fix.
Advice: To fix up the back oil leak, need 3stuffs. 1) Sealent (Main) 2) Bearing (Optional) 3) Pusher (Optional)
I got the 1st and 2nd but third din order, got from local dealer at $20 each.
Special note to get the bearing out need special tools.
Total I spend on back for servicing Sgd$90.

Yeah bro loudness(",), Hi Five getting better and it installed "turbo". Smoothness increases and can pick up to 90km easily. Don't feel so much drag now and the engine fell much more "power".
Testing the petrol limit now. Hope to increase it.
Hope everything turn out well.

Hey there Tony, didn't know you already had the "surbo" installed.Did you?? Single or twins?? You used it for power assist? Exceleration??Endurance??? So far me and bro Fit has it. I use the power assist mode.Go uphill with little or no power loss and going up mscp without my foot on the excelerator. And ofcourse for fuel economy. Bro Fit probably used it for speed since his ride is souped up and poisoned that makes me jealous. Which would you fall into?
