Your location should be considered west .. why not i just group into West, Central and East? Easier to differentiate? Anyway i always pass by CCK North/ Yew Tee as my gf stays there .. so be on a look out for a White MinZ

He is the only one lonely in North. next time you pass by CCK North/ Yew Tee , remember to buy durian, a famous store at the corner of wet market shop, near the North end of MRT station. Selling D13 durian, from Malaysia. See the following interesting article about the D13 (better than D24) www.yrmanna.com/d13-durian

As suggested by our bro Searth63, do provide information on where you are located so as to facilitate local meet-ups and kopi sessions East- Fit (Bedok) - Sparhawk (Bedok) - sadiqsiraj (Tampines) - ekims (Punggol) - hafeichina (Tampines Central) West- Lostheaven (Jurong West) - Searth63 (West Coast) - Tanmikel (West Coast) - jeff ( West Coast ) - Vinyl (Yew Tee) Central- Loudness (Yishun) - larryng (Balestier Rd) There is a new SAFRA club house near Jurong Point, could be a good place for meet up or coffee talk for west group. How do you think ?

Hello Friends! Thanks for the reply... and sorry if my reply is late... Workplace ban all websites related to motoring, etc. and every evening (night) reach home already dead tired.... I am driving a Silver Minz. Very special because behind got a Chinese logo "¹þ·ÉÆû³µ"! I just passed my 3rd year inspection. Did it at AMK St63. nearby my office. Going for 50k servicing in a few months time... But fearful of going back to Agent - very expensive! Few months ago, send the car back to Hafei for servicing. Also ask them to ensure everything is ok as I was going to Kluang, Johor for Qing Ming the next day. The service guy told me something about the cooling fan not working, etc. etc. and he fixed it so that won't over-heat, blar blar blar.... I paid >$400 for that servicing. Next day driving long distance... found out whenever the fan is triggered, the CD/Radio will go off for a few seconds.... didn't realise what's wrong but just go on. Trip was ok and returned home safely in the night. The next morning trying to start engine, batt flat!! Don't know what to do, call a number given by some friend and spend >$100 to replace the batt. After less than 1 month, it went dead again... under the advise of this person who changed the batt, send my Hafei to their workshop in alexandra. Was told something call "alternator" (?) not working, that's why cannot charge the batt... so spend another >$500 to change the "alternator"... Don't know really that expensive or not?? btw, few weeks ago, air-con suddenly not cold. Went to the same place, put in some gas ($20) and told to monitor, if soon not cold must send for thorough check.... who knows how much it will cost!! Sigh... just hope anyone can tell me if there is any trusted workshop in Singapore that can do a good job for our Hafei?

Hi Chih Ming, As I have told the members earlier, Hafei's had undersized Alternator.Anyway, majority of us have to pay to learn unless you read up our forums which I had explained the function and also preventing battery flat or having the engineering or technical knowledge on cars' engine. Especially, workshop(w/s) mechanics, when you don't challenge them technically, why have to change new battery for example if you can recharge and they will be as good as the last cranking of the engine. well, it ok you have changed it but never leave the old one with them as it is reusuable in other word u can use it for emergency. As for high temperature, radiator fan have problem and it could be due to faulty thermostat, faulty transistor switch. or cooling system like flushing out radiator perodically due to rust & flowchoking and inefficient coolant or worst pipe leaking. Throw them this tech. Qs, and if they give you a reasonable / good answer depending on how knowledgeable you are. if not u are always at their mercy once they dismantle the "baby". Changing Alternator, are you sure ur alternator had failed, again did u collected back the old one. What output amperage have they changed if 65A then you r wasting ur money & time &....only u have followed up mine last few comment on electrical stuff u would not have changed anything probably. If you are comfortable leaving your contact please do so and we will discuss on not only solving our cars problem but also save u hell of a problems , time and money. Or alternatively, call me @ 9455 7505 Ekims. I will be glad to advise all our members and also share together all our "problems". Frankly, Hafei's engine is very comparative with any other brands or made except special features. As for Upholstery like door boards and many others part that requires improvement just like many other pioneer cars makers in the old days ( which has many technical problems). they will charge you heavily( Kana Ketok teroh teroh ) sorry I am chinese but during child hood I used to play with malay kid and I prone to using slang like hokkien , malay, and others.
