Thanks... I got it made at a shop at Ubi Ave. Its a shop right at the end just across the road from Traffic Police. They can cut custom stickers. You can design whatever you want and pass it to them. Pretty affordable too.. Mine was $25..
Initially I have concerns about the black sun shade limiting the view of the traffic lights above. So I didn't want to have the black backing. But later on they advised me that without the black backing, the stickers are more likely to come off. Furthermore the black backing makes the white lettering stand out better. So ended up with the black backing. Thankfully, its a thin one and my view is not blocked.

Now that I am running at highway speeds of 90 to 100km/h, I noticed that when the brakes are applied, I can feel the front wheels shuddering through the steering wheel..
I always have this jerking problem in gears 1, 2 and Reverse. Whenever I clutch in, at times it will just have a jerk in the drivetrain. Never really bothered since it wasn't causing any problems. But yesterday something weird happened. As I tried to move off, I noticed that the car wasn't creeping forward as I released the clutch... So I applied a bit more throttle and there was a loud metallic sound and finally the car was freed from whatever that is holding it back just now and lurched forward..
The first thought that came to my mind was that I had parked it too far in and that the exhaust or chassis scraped the curb at the back. Immediately checked for damage on the back but nothing. Anyways, i never reverse too deep. I like to leave the nose just on the front line.. the back is miles away from the back wall..
Then while driving it happened again. But for the rest of the day it was fine. Have no idea what the problem is. But sounds worrying. Will monitor the situation and see if it repeats again.

Hmm.. handbrake nv fully release? I agree the jerk happens in 1st and 2nd gear.. usually i would just hold on to the clutch and release it slower .. then it wont jerk that much.. but sometimes i stall easily when moving off.. the feeling is that my moving off is too slow then suddenly it kicks in and boost off.. so between the boost comes in i stalled x.x
wonder if thats a problem or not >.>

Good day Bro Fit,
I also had this shuddering problem when stopping the vehicle at high speed; will be raising to the Hafei mechanics.
In the past, I also encounter my wheels skidding when suddenly e-brake at high speed.
What I do is to combine engine brake (by dropping gears) in conjunction with controlled stepping of foot brake. My colleague also taught me the manual 'ABS' technique to avoid skidding.
That is to apply the foot brake hard intermittently. But I think the tyres from Hafei also not very good; will be changing all of them at this year end.

Especially in wet weather ... it gets worst. A few times almost crash into the vehicle in front when the brakes doesnt stop in time and slide forward. Yea and e-brake often makes the car skid towards the left for me
Dont know if its the tyres or not, just last weekend, the back of the car just slide off when i was going up the harbourfront carpark.. scary incident.. luckily it didnt hit the wall or else i got lots of explaining to do x.x

thats really scary..yeah the tyres are useless..but i think Fit got the yokohama tyres when he bought recently..so i guess thats better then the one we got last time..so far did not experience such incidents..only skidded once..besides that i always brake early and keep a distance knowing how pathetic the brake is..

The jerk is not when the clutch is released/engaged. But rather when the I clutch in/ disengage. By right it should be smooth and no jerks since I am disconnecting the clutch from the driveline.. should just coast... Thats why I find it weird that it jerks.
For moving off from a stop, i just release the clutch fully but smoothly and let the car start rolling on its own before applying throttle. Very smooth that way and the clutch don't slip much.
Wow... the tires seems very slippery and its scary to have all the skidding incidents. Mine are Road Stones and not Yokohama. Was told i will get Yokos but ended up with Korean Road Stone. Yeah better to invest in good tires since they are the only contact with the road.
Should adopt Yapfei's braking technique using engine braking. Due to the small brakes stopping a lot of momentum with 7 people aboard, engine braking in conjunction with the foot brakes really helps to slow the car down quicker. I have been noticing that our Hafeis usually have the front wheels covered in brake dust.
So far I have yet to drive the car in heavy rain. Will be extra cautious then. I also have not much confidence in the braking power of the car and therefore also keep a safe distance from the car ahead and try to brake early.

Fogged headlights
On Sunday the car went through its first rain storm. I was in the west side and it was raining very heavily. I noticed that water entered my left headlight and fogged it up. I checked the lights and found that there was a gap along the top edge.
Apart from Mike having similar problem of water seepage, anyone else has the same problem?
Mike, did they changed your whole headlight for a new one or they just sealed it?
Thanks!
